UHA II

UHA II HAS ENDORSED

JAN PERRY FOR 2ND DISTRICT SUPERVISOR

READ MORE ABOUT THE POLITICS SURROUNDING THE RACE

On January 30, 2020, members of United Homeowners' Association II voted to endorse former city councilmember Jan Perry for 2nd District Supervisor in Los Angeles County (see press release). In the wake of recent failures by county officials and related public agencies to represent the true interests of our community, UHA II members have increased efforts to make our interests known and to hold elected officials accountable.

UHA II members rightfully expect — and will take action to require — that their elected representative for the 2nd District on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors will fully represent the interests of his or her constituents — NOT real estate developers, oil companies, tech firms, corporations, unions, and other big-money campaign donors. We're tired of machine politics (the knighting of ineffective local candidates), scandals, corruption, pay-to-play, back-room deals, the grip-and-grin, and the okie doke.

As we've spoken with community members, we have been alarmed to discover that many individuals and organizations are reluctant to take a stand against machine politicians because they have a reputation for being "very powerful," which means they are known to be vindictive and to retaliate against those who oppose them. That's called bullying. But we are not afraid: Jan Perry for 2nd District Supervisor.
